  • NOTICE INVITING BIDS: Apron Reconstruction
    Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of:
    Reconstruct Apron
    Southwest Oregon Regional Airport
    FAA/AIP Project No. 3-41-0041-056/057-2024

    will be received by the Owner at the admin offices of the Coos County Airport District at the airport terminal, 1100 Airport Lane, North Bend, OR 97459 until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 and then publicly opened and read aloud.Work Associated with proposed improvements is generally described as follows:
    Removal of existing failing concrete panels, PCC concrete placement, and pavement markings. Approximate quantities include 2,993 square yards of concrete slab removal, 480 feet of pavement saw cut, 2,993 square yards of concrete paving and 22 square feet of pavement marking.

    The Contract Documents are available for examination at the office of the Engineer, Ardurra Group Inc., 2471 S Titanium Pl, Meridian, Idaho 83642, (208) 323-2288 and the Office of the Airport Administration for the Coos County Airport District.
    The Contract Documents will be made available 5:00 PM, Friday, April 26th, 2024. Interested bidders must obtain the Bidding Documents from Quest CDN at www.questcdn.com (Quest Number – 8956706) – OTH Apron Reconstruction

    A Prebid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport, 1100 Airport Lane, North Bend, OR 97459. Attendance is recommended, not mandatory.

  • Budget Committee Meeting  
    A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the COOS COUNTY AIRPORT DISTRICT, COOS COUNTY, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 will be held in the Board Room at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport’s Board Room located at 1100 Airport Lane, North Bend. This meeting will take place on the 15th day of May 2024 at 5:30pm. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget will take place. The Budget Committee will receive the budget message and recommended budget, and take questions or comments from the public on the document. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. Public comments can also be made in writing and submitted via email to info@flyoth.com, fax at 541-751-1010, or delivered to the terminal lobby at 1100 Airport Lane, until May 14, 2024 at 10:00 am, and will be shared during the meeting. An electronic copy of the budget document may be obtained on or after May 1st, 2024 by contacting airport administration at 541-756-8531.

  • Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program
    Airports receiving FAA grants for airport development are required by law to have a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. In an effort to establish a level playing field for the participation of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged businesses for airport construction contracts, T-O Engineers, on behalf of the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport, has made available the DBE goal methodology for the 2022 – 2024 fiscal years.

    Proposed Runway 5/23 Runway Safety Area Improvements Project
    The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport announce the availability of the Final Environmental Assessment (EA) for proposed improvements at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport in North Bend, Coos County, Oregon, for public review. The EA examines the potential environmental impacts of the placement of a triangular bulkhead into Coos Bay at the end of Runway 5/23 to ensure compliance with current FAA runway safety standards for airports. Physical copies of the EA may be viewed during regular business hours at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport Administration Office, 1100 Airport Ln, North Bend, Oregon 97459
