Coos County Airport District Finance Manager Retires

(North Bend, OR) – Coos County Airport District Finance Manager, Cindy Henson, has retired after serving the district for more than 5 years. Henson made her retirement announcement at the December meeting of the Board of Directors. Henson will retire from crunching numbers for the special district, but she plans to keep herself busy on the ranch she owns with her husband.

Crystal Lyon has been working with Henson and will assume many of the responsibilities of the position. The finance manager has overall management and administrative responsibility for CCAD. That includes accounting operations record-keeping, processing, and reporting functions.

The Coos County Airport District owns and operates the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport and Airport Business Park. Several capital projects utilizing grant and district funds have been undertaken to improve airport operations and better serve airport users.

The Coos County Airport District’s Board of Commissioners holds a monthly meeting to review Finance Reports and approve the monthly payment of invoices.
