Terminal Parking Expanding with Proposed Work

Work is underway to expand parking at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport Terminal. The airport currently has over 100 general parking spaces, 30 rental car spaces, and five shuttle lanes.

Increased passenger traffic is expected this year with record numbers making their way through the terminal. The OTH to Denver (DEN) route is also expanding from two to seven days a week. The upgrades also position the airport for new routes that could include Portland and other destinations.

The proposed new lots will add approximately 160 parking spots:

  • New staff parking along the airfield access road for Airport, TSA, and SkyWest staff.
  • New car rental lot on the lower bluff area near the terminal, complete with sidewalks and additional staff parking.
  • Additional long-term parking lot on the upper bluff above park lot 3 (near the entrance off Airport Lane).
  • Accessibility parking

Passengers will still enjoy FREE parking at the airport.
